Our Beach

Playa Carmen ~ Santa Teresa

Santa Teresa, a paradise for surfing, relaxation and the legitimate "Pura Vida".

We are located in the extreme south of the Nicoya Peninsula, bathed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean, in one of the five places identified by UNESCO as the "Blue Zone" or "Zona Azul", a place of longevity, prosperity and happiness.

An exuberant tropical forest surrounds us, part of the great Absolute National Reserve of Cabo Blanco; the oldest protected area in Costa Rica, for being the first reserve founded in the entire country, in 1963.

Playa Carmen

Submerged in an immensity of flora and fauna; which is nothing more than a natural paradise. We are surrounded by the best beaches in Costa Rica. From the local fish market of Playa Malpaís the commercial area extends, passing through Playa Carmen, Playa Santa Teresa, Playa Hermosa to the beautiful town of Playa Manzanillo.

We can find a great variety of animals such as squirrels, garrobos, iguanas, coatis, raccoons, skunks, armadillos, different types of monkeys, deer, woodpeckers, macaws, even big cats; and within our incredible sea and with just a few snorkeling goggles we could run into octopuses, lobsters, starfish, sea snakes, giant snails (cambute), crabs, moray eels, manta rays, sea urchins, and a large number of fish, in many colors and many sizes.

The Jungle

Cataloged as one of the best areas for surfing worldwide, it also represents our "Pura Vida" lifestyle, and added to the great cultural exchange, we are an attraction area for those who wish to relax and fully enjoy themselves.

And to finish off, "Our Sunsets" are world-class for those who wish to photograph one of the best settings where colors have no limits, and the sky joins the sea to relax us into a multicolored show, at any time of the year.
